Refresh Your Skills - The Easy Way
With the Refresher course you decide what you need to know. You will have access to our full CNA Refresher course. You can choose to study it all, or focus on just the skills you need.
The Course is Complete
This is the most comprehensive refresher course available...we do not predetermine what you know and need, and then summarize the material. You are in control. The course covers the 25 basic steps for a CNA.  Determine what is relevant from a "Complete Menu", learn what you need and skip the rest.
The Course is Interactive
Our course provides PowerPoint presentations, matching activities, quizzes and an end-of-course exam. If you also purchase the recommended textbooks, you will have access to videos that demonstrate required skills. Take the quizzes for decide.
Know When You are Done
The optional end of course exam will let you test your knowledge. We recommend a 90 score, but, you decide. If you want to start with the final, and work backwards as needed, you can.  We empower you with current, relevant, and complete information.
Overall employment of nursing assistants and orderlies is projected to grow 11 percent from 2016 to 2026, faster than the average for all occupations. As the baby-boom population ages, nursing assistants and orderlies will be needed to assist and care for elderly patients.*
With CNA NursingPrep, you can offer CNA
candidates or your entire team a complete,
current CNA course curriculum,
while your facility provides
the hands-on portion of training.
This course is for you if you have passed the certification exam, but your certification has lapsed. If your state requires you to pass the state exam, but not completely retrain, then this CNA refresher course will help you prepare. This course meets all the requirements for the basic skills and concepts for all 50 states, enabling you to refresh your knowledge before you take the NNAAP competency exam.*

A refresher course differs from a nurse aide training course. You are eligible only if you have already been certified as a CNA, but your certification has lapsed past your state’s requirements to renew without retesting, usually more than 24 months without any paid CNA working hours. Requirements vary from state to state and you should verify with your state’s CNA Registry what you must do to renew your certification.

*Some states require retraining as well as retesting. Check with your state’s CNA Registry to learn their policy.
